Recipes for vegetarians and meat lovers alike
In my mind, a flexitarian is a mindful meat eater. Someone who eats meat on occasion but who wants to primarily eat vegetarian meals and live a more plant based lifestyle. Eating vegetarian has become a lot more popular in recent years (for good reason) but many people are unsure of where to begin. This cookbook is a great way to start! I bought this cookbook back in 2011 when I was first starting to learn how to cook healthier and more focused on vegetarian meals. I have found it to be a very good resource for learning how to create meals not focused on animal protein and inspiring for those interested in becoming more creative when cooking plant based meals. If you are a vegetarian living with a meat lover or just wanting to eat less meat, then this cookbook is perfect for you!
The best part about this cookbook is that each and every recipe has a version using meat and a version of the recipe without meat, giving you many recipes to choose from. In addition to recipes for meals, there are recipes for homemade cashew cream, green and red thai curry paste and flavourful spice rubs!
