I had many requests to share the recipe for my daily favourite coffee elixir after sharing how I make it on my Instagram. Because of the requests, here you are!

Be mindful that this recipe is more of a guideline. Feel free to use a little more of this or that to suit your taste preference, get creative by adding different herbs, and really try to notice how this coffee makes you feel after. I always add adaptogens such as mushrooms, ashwaganda, maca root, etc in my coffee because I love how it positively affects my mood and boosts cognitive function. I like adding fats because it makes the coffee a little less harsh on my stomach and bowles. It’s also super satiating as it fuels my body with healthy fat sources. The collagen adds a bit of protein (9g/tbsp) along with gut healing amino acids and also helps to keep you fuller for longer.
My Favourite Adaptogenic Coffee Elixir

- 1.5 C hot brewed coffee
- 1 - 2 tbsp coconut butter, coconut milk or grass fed butter
- 2 tsp MCT oil
- 1 tbsp collagen powder
- 2 tsp - 1 tbsp maca powder
- 2 tsp - 1 tbsp ashwaganda, reishi mushroom, lions mane mushroom or medicinal mushroom blend.
- Optional add-ins:
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp cocoa
- pinch of cinnamon or cardamom
- Step 1
- Add all ingredients in high speed blender and blend 10-20 seconds.
- Step 2
- Pour, sip and enjoy!
